LOL So just raise it 150 points. No problem.

That's the sort of range of David Bell seems to me, I don't think a players first 200 at bats locks a guy in
It locked JK in didn't it. Worst start since 1900 for an OFer and people thought that was normal and just fine. LOL
Williamson has already showed the ability to hit so I don't see JK as a comp, JKs issues went beyond not having enough power. It's really why they took him in the second round, betting on his ability to do that. If its impossible then it doesn't make sense to have drafted him there. Here is Scott Hunter talking about it. I'd like to there be hope

Williamson went from being undrafted as a junior to getting taken in the second round the next year. That was based on his showing the ability to get stronger

How did he show ability to get stronger. lol He turns 25 in a few months. Maybe if he spends 8 hours a day in the gym this off season.

He already has an average BA. What is exactly is going to happen that will result in him hitting more the 1 HR every 250 PAs?? He is going to be 25 yo so he is kind of done growing. The only thing I can think of is PEDs.
You are in a mood, aren't you?
Well I could be giddy and delusional and blow smoke up your ass telling you he is a lock for 30 HRs next season but I don't want you to be disappointed. lol
Did I piss in your Cheerio's or something?

So, what do you all think, is the 150 batting average by Genio worth it?

I can tell you that I am not impressed, but then again, I was the one that said he would be no different than he was when he was here previously.

I don't believe it's that unusual to gain power at around that age, David Bell would be the comp. It's not about Williamson becoming a middle of the order bat but raising his ops to the.750 range

Would you really want to throw all your eggs into that basket based on what someone did 25 years ago? For every Davud Bell there's also a Ted Cox, Manny Castillo, Jamie Allen, etc. with no pop who failed to develop.

How many ABs for Ketel Marte?
How many times in MLB history has someone hit that few HRs in 700+ ABs to start their careers and then became a power hitter like that? The only other player who comes to mind is Kirby Puckett.

Man, you and Donn. Do you guys buy lottery tickets and then are totally shocked when you don't win?

He has sucked no doubt but Locklear has put up -0.6 WAR and a .584 OPS, Burgos has been pretty good but only 3 innings pitched for the D Backs, Cranton still hasn't pitched for them. He had almost 40 HRs for AZ, he has to get hot right?
