How many times are we going to swing at pitches way out of the strike zone when ahead in the count? And then of course Naylor dribbles a meatball. Three straight walks and nothing. They've literally flushed this game down the toilet.

That swing by Naylor on the 1-0 count was so friggin sad.
He's thrown 4 straight balls. You have to be disciplined enough to take that pitch.

Thats what Jerry builds. On base guys not runs kinda guys. Tons of on base but scoring them barely anytimeDavidGee24 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 22, 2026 4:00 amHow many times are we going to swing at pitches way out of the strike zone when ahead in the count? Still need another to tie and more to win it. It's possible. There might be a chance.

Our 2-3-4 hitters have all walked twice, and despite our 5 hitter going 3-4, none of them have scored.

Top of the order coming up against a likely crummy pitcher.
Well, there went any chance we had.
