Somehow, I don't think I'll be 16-8 in the GT contest is a half hour. I'll be a paltry 15-9.

The way this scatterbrained, unfocused, fireless, comatose, limp, useless, dysfunctional, sinking ship, shit show doesn't play is depressing.

Idk who these guys are but this is not a team no one is doing anything on offense absolutely nothing. Jeff Passan cursed them.

Hello, third place. This team literally doesn't even care.

So like I say, every year is separate and distinct, this year, the Blue Jays stink, and except for a ridiculous catch by the Dodgers, when the Toronto guy had already touched home with the winning run, they would have won the World Series.

How do you think their fans feel?

Think what it would be like as a Jay’s fan, with their heart in their throats, their guy had already touched home plate with a winning run in the World Series, except for that catch!

That Centerfielder came from out of nowhere.

daBronx🟡🔶🔵🟩🟤🔷, game thread is yours tomorrow. Have your game thread up by noon, Bronx-time. There's a line of would-be GT thieves ready to pounce.

Dear front office or whoever is still pretending this is a Major League lineup,

Let’s stop calling it a “slump.” A slump implies temporary. What you’re running is a sustained, multi-week demonstration that the concept of scoring runs is optional.

Bases loaded, two outs, and the next guy up looks like he just remembered bats are made of wood. Runners in scoring position might as well be on the disabled list for all the good they do. The only thing getting on base with any consistency is the opposing team’s confidence.

You’ve somehow managed to make “zero offense” feel like a branding decision. Other teams lose games. You lose games and dignity at the same time. That’s special. That’s commitment. That’s the kind of futility that deserves its own highlight reel…except there are no highlights, just a long montage of swings and misses set to sad trombone.

Keep doing exactly what you’re doing. The standings already know. The fans already know. Hell, the opposing pitchers are starting to feel bad for you, and that’s just pathetic.

With the absolute minimum amount of remaining respect,

Someone who has officially stopped pretending this is still fun.
