You've never seen any team this bad. I believe they're still on pace to be the worst defensive team in MLB history, per Fangraphs. I hope they get it AND break the season home run record.seattlefan-daBronx wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2019 3:19 amIn all my years I don't know if I've ever seen a M's squad defensively this bad!
Are they smoking blunts between innings...??? Weed is legal is Seattle now right?

I don't know what you guys are expecting from Servais. I understand the fans need a scape goat but really he doesn't have much to work with.
This is a rebuilding year. I'm looking at individual improvement from the young players. Most of those players are not on this roster.

Granted we knew this was...a step aside to get ahead...or whatever they want to call a reset.
BUT...in caps...Scott has the habit of leaving his pitchers in too long to get plastered when they show clear signs of losing their sh*t.
He might just turn out to be a good skipper with the right squad but he has to make the right calls even with bad players first.
It's a mindset...and his is mush. Just my humble opinion.

Just saw that 2 run dinger by Cron to LF. He did almost hit that baby out of the park.

Swanson seemed to pitch well but was giving up home runs like crazy. If he can figure that out could be decent.
Just looked at team stats, Mariners tied with most home runs, 2nd in most home runs given up. Crazy.

Anyone notice Sadzeck throwing 95 instead of 98... but the ball has run? Kind of nice.

I'm listening to the mlb broadcast via the Minnesota announcers.
They were saying let's go thru the Seattle bullpen tonight and put them at a disadvantage for the series.
I can only imagine that is what SS and his crew are thinking as well...thus the reluctance to pull their starter.
Guess I just believe in trying to WIN each game today and then worry about tomorrow tomorrow.
You're only as good today as your starter.
Aren't these guys twenty years old with tons of energy and talent?
Otherwise they wouldn't be in the bigs, right?
The manager gets paid to know the skillset of his players and know how to best use them.
But there has to be a thing call instincts that only comes from experience.
We got a coach folks with NO previous pro ball experience.
Who does that? Jerry Home Depot. Hired his best buddy.
I'm still pissed he didn't get us better starting pitching.
Nice hit HEALY!

I guess Pineda piñata has showed up for a brief appearance. Ryon and J.P. went back to back for a little thrill, at least.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!
