The Tacoma pitching coach can only do so much but giving up 7 runs or more, in about half of your games seems a bit much.

What an ugly game.

Seager has a double and a HR but commits 2 errors. It sounds like there may have been 5 errors total but 2 did not get called. The team is "mailing it in".

I still can't believe this. This is the same guy that hit exactly one HR for us in 466 PAs a few years ago.

He must have met with one of the good doctors.

Yeah, he's looking like a better player with a longer career ahead of him than Haniger. Another trade starting to look like Jerry lost, although it's hard to know how much the coaches/trainers with Arizona are responsible.

Funny, many here were calling it a landslide victory not so long ago. Maybe it is a case of both sides gaining an asset that increases in value or they knew how to extract more value. Walker has been a 130's ERA+ pitcher with the Snakes had TJ early in 2018 and might be back later in 2019. Walker who had good stuff and results picking up a couple of ticks in velocity and entering the contract year might look absolutely deadly in 2020.

Don't forget we got Crawford for Segura so he is part of the equation as well. 0.5 WAR in only 17 games so far. .770 OPS for a good defensive SS.

Well, it will come down to how Walker does coming back after the surgery. Dipoto is still winning the trade but only because of unforeseeable circumstances. However, i think he undervalued Marte and his potential. He was basically a throw in with Walker being the main piece.

Marte was horrible his last season with us. JD has made a lot of mistakes but not sure how you can blame him for a guy that managed 1 HR in almost 500 PAs now hitting tape measure bombs. Walker is an FA after next season so the better hope his hits the mound pitching lights out.
