Tim Lopes doubles in the 7th for his 4th hit of the game. Tim is #ATripleShy of the cycle.

I never root for us to lose but the draft pick situation sure makes losing a lot easier.

Yeah. No chance at playoffs and better draft picks with losses, I don't get upset about losses one bit.

After greeting some guests who are here for the weekend, I came back to the thread having missed the 9th. I think I stared at the screen for a full minute.
I’m sorry I missed SS’ eternal excuse string in the postgame. I wonder what he’ll say this time - oh wait, I know...

What really sucks is if Leake doesn't give up that two-out hit in the 8th, he probably comes back out for the 9th and maybe throws a shutout. One little thing...

Yep, that is the thing about baseball. Something that seemed completely inconsequential at the end of the 8th cost us the game.
