I think it's rather obvious that we are a poorly disciplined team. Perhaps that is a consequence of losing but I suspect it has more to do with the manager's approach.

Totally agree.... the Mariner's ownerships have a long history of "thinking they know something about baseball" while being clueless....undervaluing the few knowledgeable and exceptional baseball leaders they have been able to attract to this city.... guys like Lou Pinella, Pat Gillick, Paul Molitor, Bob Melvin, and few others....

I may have to join you guys now in crushing SS. Just read a quote in Saturday's paper were he says they can't win many games scoring two or three points! Points!? wtf?

Ha. I posted that and am praying he was misquoted. I have never heard someone involved even remotely in baseball call runs points.

Ha, I was just going to post in today's gamethread but realized that if nobody else posts in that thread, David Gee will join none other than poopy pants Hawksbdynasty as the only posters to have an entire game thread of only their posts. So help him out and don't post there. Seriously, just do NOT do it! :D
