I feel like young players struggle changing bat speeds to square up off speed pitches. So many of them try to swing out of their shoes at every pitch thrown to them... Cal typically a victim.
He barely swung at the slider and parked it. Hope he learns from that moment.

Great to see this offense jump out and continue scoring runs. Pitching needs to hold this. Gotta show we can actually win another series.
