It just continues!! JRod 2-3 with a triple! Now 20-36! INSANITY.

I don't see how he doesn't start the season in AA next year, especially if he plays in the AFL like expected this year and does fairly well. His ETA just keeps moving up.

3-4 now! 21-37 for a .568 BA.

4-4 in 5 innings. Now hitting .578 26-45. He could go in an 0-7 slump and still be hitting .500.

I think so, especially of he does well in AFL. No reason to have him return to Modesto. They need to think about service time with him, and if he is tearing it up in AA, it will be hard to keep from promoting him before September.

In 5+ games as an 18 yo in High A, a league with an in which he is 4.4 years younger than the average player, he is 10-17 (.588) with 2 doubles, a triple a HR and 9 RBIs.

Since I started this thread he is 17-29. That is freakin insanity. The kid is 18 years old.

I went to look at A-Rods minor league stats to see how they compared. Talk about rushing. At age 18 A-Rod had 65 games in A Ball, 17 Games in AA, 32 games in AAA and 17 games in the majors. The promotions seemed warranted though he put up a .948 OPS in AAA as an 18 year old and then in 54 games as a 19 year old he hit .358 with a 1.065 OPS.
