I didn't predict they would lose 100 I said it wasn't out of the realm of possibility. Same applies here. I am not predicting that he will hit .200 just saying that he wouldn't have to be unimaginably worse than he already has been to make it happen.
I would argue that if a team or a player is performing exceptionally well or poorly it is actually less likely that they would continue on the current trajectory and its more likely they will regress or in this case progress to the mean. Hopefully he progresses just like the M's did.
