Not trading any SPs.
What does that mean? Sixth starter?

With Haniger and Garver we'll have the Mayo Clinic on speed dial.

Love to see Mitch back and here’s to him staying healthy for a full season…… Jerry actually has been doing his job of late, I can’t blame him with the cards Stanton made him play and even though I still held out hope that Robbie would have helped right about the time the youngsters will be tiring it’s a better trade than Woo or Miller or Castillo. So we so far get to keep our rotation. Hope they are not done
Better chance Mitch plays 162 thanRay has more than 6-8 starts.

Thankfully means he would be next man up if a starter gets injured or needs to skip a start or two for the precise workload management program.

Where is he waiting, in the bullpen? That seems a little odd

Oh, I see he's pitched out of the pen I guess, or Dipoto thinks he can
“In Mitch, we get a player we know well, and hold in very high regard, as another piece for our outfield, while Anthony – who can start or pitch out of the ‘pen – gives us depth in our pitching staff. And the deal allows us to put the best team possible on the field from Opening Day on.

Jerry sits back in his ergonomically correct chair and says to his boy Holli....
"Holli, let's see how many platoon bats we can add to our roster today"
"Grab one of those free T-mobile burner phones and get me San Fran on the line"

"Hey Petester feel like shuffling some hot garbage?!"
"What can I get for a one-time Cy Young pitcher on the mend?"
"What?! you talkin RObbie? His tight pants will surely be a fan favorite locally"
"I guess it's only fair I give you someone back then also in recovery right?!?!"
"How bout Mitch Haniger?"

"Mitch? He always told he had unfinished business in Seattle, they LOVE some Mitch up here"
"Holli crunch the numbers!"
"Hey Pete looks like we're little short to get it done"

"Well, what do you need?"
"Besides Julio, just about everything offensively"
"O.K. I'll throw in a bull-pen arm. How about DeSclafani?"
"Who?!?" "What's wrong with him?"
"He's got a nice arm but maybe has a smidge of hyperactivity"
"AND....I"ll give you $6M in CASH!"

"CASH?!?! DEAL MFr!" "Holli....draw up some papers and get me a Starbucks skim milk latte on ice"

Welcome back Mitch "Mr. Glass don't fall on your ass" Haniger.

Classic Dipshito moves today. God help us all.
Apples and Oranges. Should Mitch not be fragile, this could be a boon to the M's. Not counting on it and he's years removed from his finest season in 2021. Haniger will play the entire season as a 33 year old. Hernández will play this year as a 31 year old, wherever he lands. However, it's remarkable (again, apples and oranges) to compare both of their 30 years old seasons side-by-side. Close to mirroe images.
They both played approx. same # of innings in RF. I'd give Teoscar a slightly better fielding edge as he had far more OF assists and participated in more DP's. They both committed 3 errors and had identical .989 fielding %.

Anyway, just my 2 cents on it. Welcome back, Mitch. May the Force...........err, Fountain of Youth be with you.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Robbie Ray won his Cy Young in 2021, the same year Mitch Haniger posted 39 home runs, 110 runs and 100 RBI with the Mariners, while Anthony DeSclafani posted a 3.17 ERA in 31 starts with the Giants. We'll see who can recapture the 2021 magic
