Yeah Seth, I'm going to agree with Julio on this one. I do think you're right about Fraley, 110%. It's early in the season. So I'm willing to give everybody the benefit of the doubt. George looks fine tonight. Not good, not great. But I'll take 2-run baseball from a starter night in and night out. He's capable of better.

He’s playing a platoon role. 330 AB last year, on pace for about the same this year. He’s doing well because he’s not being asked to do more than what he’s good at. He would not do that well for the mariners because they wouldn’t have the players to platoon him with

Yup, not good against lefties. And the Reds lineup is deep enough to platoon.

Gotta feel bad for the guy then I realize how much money he is making and that subsides. Just playing with no heart no energy. Only 1 damn extra base hit. Just really scuffling. Good to see the offense not be able to hit a high era reliever. Gotta hope Kirby and Co can hold this 3 run lead!

Exactly. Most of his strikeouts are swinging and bad pitches. Guy just hates to work counts. Wants to get up there and end it fast!

That's what I loved about Frank Thomas.
Good for .300 avg, 35 bombs, 100 RBI, and a 100 walks EVERY SINGLE year!!!
