Yeah I saw that. Dude has some serious pop. Former top prospect. Nice risk free move if he can cut down on the whiff rate.
MLBTR has linked th wrong player a few times this year THE LINK THEY HAVE is for a guy that played at LC college in Portland in 2025

But I looked him up 17 HR in 50 games last year? He’s probably be somewhere in the top 4 right now to share RF and DH
Guessing he will hit a few bombs to Tucson during ST but he will start in Tacoma.
Oh let’s dream big on him let’s get a Edgar-Jose Bautista level of late bloomer here!

I'd be happy with a Geno reunion and a Donovan/Romero trade.

Would force Emerson and Young to have to knock the door down for their shot.

I don't think Geno is going to hit for a .479 OPS at T-Mobile if the M's were to re-sign him.

The are only going to add one more bat, sadly.

A’s trade for Jeff McNeil. The Mets cover $5MM of his salary.

In 2023 and 2025 in 215 games in a Mariner uniform Geno put up a 2.7 WAR which is barely above average for an MLB player. His slash line was .218/.300/.403 for an OPS of .703, and if you prorated his Ks over 162 games in the time he was a Mariner in 2025, it would come out to 241(!).

And guess what...in April of 2026 he's going to be six months older which at 35 in today's game is a LOT. We can not settle on him at third.

Rob Refsnyder has been a good part time bat the past to seasons would be a cheap RH bat for DH and RF.

Sign Rob Refsnyder 1 year, $2.5MM (hold down the fort till Farmelo and/or Montes make it. He had a great year in Boston – doesn’t want to retire yet. With gas in the tank he is likely just looking for a 1 year deal)

Rob Refsnyder, OF - The veteran has enjoyed a 2-year production boom and will be a free agent following the season. He's currently hitting .302/.371/.585/.986 with 4 homers in 21 games. He is crushing lefties with a 1.014 OPS and would be a nice platoon/bench bat.

Suggestions that came true. Signs for $6.25m
