Sheffield with 8.0 ip, 8K. 2BB 1 ER. 2 H (both came in the 8th inning). No decision as the game tied 1-1 in the 9th.

I know a lot are down on him, but he's showing pretty dang good in AA the last 3 starts. Hopefully he can carry that back to AAA when they decide to promote him back to Tacoma.
Night and Day. I like day better. Can't just be the level of competition. Great to see he has snapped out of it. Literally every prospect is doing well right now. Just need to dump Gordon, Leake and Seager and the rebuild will be at all systems go.
Apart from Kelenic who only has 5 hits in 33 abs in his last ten games.

Shed with an inside the park grandslam last night.

So, Arkansas game kinda interesting. 1 out, runner on 3B. White up Intentional BB. Brings up DTW, another intentional BB to get to Kyle Lewis. He hits a single to the SS to win the game. Not sure the details, but kinda interesting they BB White and DTW (both were 2-4 today) to get to Lewis.
If there was 1 out, runner on 3B in a 0 or 1 run ballgame you almost have to walk the two guys to set up the force out at home and/or the double play to end the inning.

I don't understand this mentality. All of those players in all likelihood bring back nothing of value. I mean if Seattle pays huge money you could buy a Juan Then type depth piece but that is not really exciting me. Dumping Seager, I think Healy is done. Who's on 3rd? Short term I would be fine with Shed or Tim Beckham but Beckham in 2020 will be in his last year of control and has slumped after the hot start. If you dump Dee (I like Shed as a 2B more than 3rd baseman) Shed can't play both. Dumping Seager will probably cost 10M+ and you have a hole that you do not have any high-grade prospects to turn to.
Kyle is on a 3 WAR pace BWAR 31 games =.6 WAR = 3 WAR in 155.
I would rather pay 38 Million for 2 years and option to trade him if he has an up year than pay (.5 x 53 million = 26.5 M) to trade him and have a spot for Dylan Moore or less.

The baseball market has tanked with tanking. 3 years ago EE would have brought back a legit org. top 10 prospect.

Dee is more of a piece that is blocking Shed.

Wow, Fraley is now at .317/.974 in T town. Went nuts after I pointed out his mini slump. I guess God is more powerful than D-train.

You only have to walk one to set up a double play.

You only have to walk one to set up a double play.
Then you need a perfect double play ball. Walking two gives you the option of getting the force out at home if you can't get a double play, or at least making sure of getting one out without losing the game.

Crismatt with another great game 7 so, no walks ,4 hits and 1 ER given up in 6 innings. His numbers across the board look really tasty probably have another shot at Tacoma if he keeps producing.

Kelenic is now ice cold in Modesto(1 hit in his last 6 games), hope he snaps out of it soon.

Here I will fix JK. What the hell is up with Kelenic?

This will guarantee at least two hits in his next game.
