Thanks DT, we are all relying on you here.D-train wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2019 2:56 pmHere I will fix JK. His numbers across the board look really tasty probably have another shot at Tacoma if he keeps producing.
Kelenic is now ice cold in Modesto(1 hit in his last 6 games), hope he snaps out of it soon.
This will guarantee at least two hits in his next game.
Minor League Updates

Re: Minor League Updates
You also need a near perfect grounder to get the out at home, and set it up for a walk off walk. I don't think it's a strategy most managers would use.

"you can't play for the out at home and at the same time be playing for a double play can you? You are going to have you infield in closer if you are looking for the play at the plate"
-Gorgon
If a ball isn't fielded cleanly, you make the play at the plate. If it is, you have the double play.
You don't play for anything, you put yourself in the best % chance of getting out of the inning, and unless you have a high K reliever in the game then you set it up for the force at home or double play ball.

Re: Minor League Updates
It was probably more due to DTW being a lefty and Lewis hitting right handed. Harder to double up a lefty that has speed than a righty with a bum knee. Also I assume the pitcher was a righty, so right on right matchup. For some reason I was thinking DTW was a righty with my original post.
I can see your side of it too, but I think most managers would pick the matchup they like best, and DTW had 2 doubles already that game

He's been immense so far this season, Warren has been lights-out too so far.D-train wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 3:29 am78 Ks and only SEVEN walks.

Re: Minor League Updates
Still can't fathom what Warren is doing in AA. 26yo, big league experience and ERA barely over 1.00. I guess our BP is too lights out to crack.
btw just noticed that Fraley who was born the day before Griffey broke his wrist crashing into the wall in 1995 is 3 months older than the Shed. He now has a .973 OPS in T town after a slow start. I think I would rather see him than the Mac attack. I am sure we will see him in Sept. I can't wait.

Re: Minor League Updates
I don't think they'll bring up any relievers that will help them win games this season. Especially if it costs them service time.
They could have fixed the bullpen by now internally if they wanted to, imo.
