Maybe JD needs to bag his trendy new world avant garde metaphysical hirings and go will guys that have had success as pitching coaches and hitting coaches and whatever the hell Lorena Martin was supposed to be doing. btw guessing she has enjoyed the last month and a half of M's baseball.

Are Marco and Leake low 3 era pitchers? Leake has a career average 4 era and Marco had a 4 era season last year which is exactly where I envisioned both of them to be tbh. I personally don't rate Marco as highly as others and if he gets it back to a 4 era I'd be satisfied but this is why I never really envisioned him as a 2 or a 3 rotation pitcher

One would think that they would change pitchers after the 3rd one.

Yeah, guessing that might be the first time that one pitcher has given up all four. I think if I was pitching, I would start rolling the ball up to the plate after the third one....

When Smoak was in college he was part of a 5 in a row deal. That has never happened in the bigs.
