Only have to get through 7 innings against one of the best lineups in baseball with the bullpen. What could go wrong...

How about that Evan White!!! He found one he liked..... Stripling is our guy.... he is getting this lineup healthy... just as I suspected.. However Dunn has to really step it up to last five innings against these feather muckers....

Evan White goes oppo. 3 HR this season. A few lucky breaks on some of his AB, and his numbers would be starting to look passable.

Opposite field homeruns are a great sign, imo. He still has time, he hasn't been Mallex'd yet.

With Mallex its been obvious since his first month here that he was a nothingburger.

Even Shed Long has shown more promise than Mallex ever did.

He showed way too much last year in Arkansas to not have some hope. He's not lacking for power. He crushes the ball. Just needs to get the launch angle up a bit on some of them. He got pretty unlucky with call strike 3 earlier in the game. Looked off the plate, but probably close enough he shouldn't have taken it.

I know. It must be mind-stunning to find out what you think maybe just a chronic tendon or alignment issue, is cancer. Yeesh.

Luckily Its benign. Its not cancerous. There is a procedure to fix it, but I'm sure he's going to try to play through it if there is any risk to the surgery.

Kyle Seager is hitting well enough that his additional year isn't a negative anymore. Question is, would he bring enough back to trade him, or should Mariners keep him around to play 3B. Nobody is knocking on that door anytime soon.
