Fraley loves to complain to the ump even when the pitch was clearly in the strike zone. Hate that.
Also, he's obviously not a power threat, and the Rangers were still using the shift against him, with the left side wide open. Why would he not even try to take the ball that way?

I must be infamous! My name in another member's game thread title!!! Can't get any better than this, right?DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 8:29 pmLeadoff double, one of the worst starting pitchers in MLB, 2-3-4 hitters up, and JP doesn't even get to third. Lovely.
David, I hope you make it to 16-3 before that 4th loss befalls you

A little history lesson: My one-and-done last thread on August 1st was:
Yup, versus the same team with the same pitching matchup.Pummeling the Faultynewz with a Gonzo Game Thread 8/1/21

Yup again, one of the worst starting pitchers, Foltynewicz, pitched 5 strong innings of 3 hit ball. M's did score 2 in the 2nd inning off him. That was the game Heim (on the bench today waiting for a pinch hit ambush opportunity?) hit his second consecutive, game-winning walk-off HR versus Seattle, a 3-4 loss. Marco went 6 strong innings, Swanson surrendered the dinger.
I see we tied it up just now. Kelenic with another sac fly.
So, waiting for Faultynewsicz to show us his losing stuff now.
No repeat performance allowed.
Thanks for putting me up on the Marquee!

Two outs, nobody on, that's about the last thing you expect. Damn, JP crushed that one!

Crawford? Crawford????? Well, we've reached our limit in runs scored. Let's see if the pitching holds up and we can keep from too many errors to give the game away.

Crazy that someone that can it one that far only has three bombs in mid August....

Crawford has twice as many HR's as our "power hitting" LF that is Bauers!
And Blowers tells us Gonzalez has settled into a groove here in the sixth inning... As he walks the first batter he faces.

We take the lead and Marco walks the 9th hitter with a .550 OPS....DP all good.
