Recently heard of Donnie Walton, this guy looks good! Has .407 OBP!

The next second baseman?
For some reason they seem to be locked into Shed at 2B. I would like to see both Lopes and Walton get a shot there.
At Modesto last year his OBP was .402.

Second base equivalent of Vogelbach?

That's a lot of ifs for White.

I'll stick with a great bat that might develop an average glove at 1B where defense matters as little as anywhere.

How many games have we lost from first base defense this season?
It's too bad Ms have to make a decision right now and can't wait and see how White continues to progress and how he fares when he does reach mlb...

And Vogey is going to be the DH anyway.

White has less chance of hitting than Justin Smoak did imo.

And your opinion means nothing, just like mine. There is a reason they play the games, and there is a reason they let the players develop. The cream will rise, and White will get his chance. Its really between him and Healy right now, and I don't have a lot of confidence in Healy. Heck, he may never be healthy again.

Saying it's between him and Healy right now is like saying the Dem nomination for Potus is down to Biden or Jay Inslee.

Murfee is interesting. Didn't start pitching until his Sr year in college, and wasn't a starter until a month into this season. You will look at his age and say "He's just doing this because he's 25 in A ball", but he's in a hitters league, and he's really only pitched the last 2 years.

Crismatt was with the Mets and was good in the lower levels, but struggled in AAA at Las Vegas last year and to start this year in Tacoma. Not sure what kind of stuff he has, and how good he can be, but he's been lights out in Arkansas.
