And he might be correct about both of them
I didn't think Laz would hit as well in Everett as Modesto of course, buy my God, a .565 OPS?

Still early for Laz but with him now sucking, I don't see a single above average MLB player in our entire Farm system. Maybe Emerson can be like a Wade Boggs or something but that is it.

Heck, wouldn't it be nice to have average MLB players right now? Average players score an average number of runs, strike out an average number of times, and get an average number of hits. With M's pitching staff, you should be able to win an above average number of games, with just a bunch of average players.

The significant regression of literally every key player offensively on the roster has to be one of the strangest things I have EVER witnessed in 50 years of following sports...

Has anyone been paying attention to our #22 prospect Troy Taylor? He is absolutely lighting it up as the ARK closer after blowing guys nuts off in Modesto at the beginning of the year. Hard thrower with a nasty slider. Maybe we bring him up and let him get some big league experience in the bullpen

Good call. I don't track the relievers. Just too damn many of them

The way you can overreact on SSS can get pretty annoying tbh. Laz is like 19 years old.

It is over 100 PAs now and he has a .267 Slugging %, basically half of what he put up in his career before the promotion. That is rough. I don't care if you are annoyed.

It seems like High-A is more challenging than it used to be, maybe more equivalent to AA- if such a thing existed. More and more I'm convinced that the Cal League experience should be as abbreviated as possible for good hitters.
