Rainiers beat the Ranger's AAA Round Rock Express tonight, 12-7.
Tyler Locklear went 4-4, smacked 2 HR's (15&16), had 6 RBI's (77 on the season).
Don't fall asleep on the righty bat. He's still just 24 years old.

Tyler Locklear is ready to come back, the problem is I think they want a platoon, and he’s much better against righties. Still think I’d take him over Raley at 1B.

You know the are too monkey brained to bother to look at splits. If he comes up he will replace Solano not Raley.

Ryan Sloan has now jumped up to 5 in the mlb prospect list. He’s the #9 RHP and #59 overall, 1 spot behind Arroyo at 58. Mariners have 8 guys in the top 70

Did some sites bump Farmelo out on their re-rank? It looks that way.

The 8 right now are largely:

Emerson
Anderson
Ford
Montes
Arroyo
Sloan
Celesten
Cijntje

Farmelo is more of an idea at this point than an actual prospect. Maybe next year he'll regain corporeal substance and we can think of him as a prospect again.

Tyler Locklear was pulled in the fifth inning of Triple-A Tacoma’s game against Sugar Land, which sparked speculation about his potential to be called up to the Seattle Mariners. Locklear,

Where does he play?

1B lefty on the mound. I see that he exclusively -plays 1B now. I thought they were going to go after BP help and do BP and 2B and just shove lock at 3B but maybe not so much.
