I'm really starting to think that we're going to let everyone else come off the table and then at the last minute re-sign Suarez under the logic that he'll do what Polanco did last season even though it's totally obvious that he won't.

If he signs elsewhere, we will wind up signing 11th tier 3B guys like Luis Urías or Gio Ursehla, or the guy who’s currently 'between jobs' and spends his afternoons aggressively power-walking through the stadium parking lot while shouting batting tips at pigeons.

I'd rather have Suarez over Williamson.

I'd rather have Willaimson over Urshela or Urías.

I'd rather have Bregman over a lifetime supply of oxygen and and a functioning lightsaber that also opens wine bottles. But the chances of Bregman are only slightly higher than the chances of monkeys flying out of my butt.

We can hope the Emerson beats him out for the 3B job. I don't mind seeing Young get another try - obviously a lot of pop in his bat but wouldn't have minded Bichette there and Bregman at 3B lol.

Agreed brother. Sure wish we could roll the dice and do something along these lines: Sign Valdez. Trade Kirby and change for Marte. Trade prospects for Diaz to DH. "Money talks and BS walks"
