I’m the Tommy fleetwood of these contests. I usually do really well, but just can’t find a way to win it, hence me picking Tommy. Maybe we can both break out of the funk.

I don’t think I’ve ever been as sad for a player as when he lost a few weeks ago.

I have no idea what this is and the link doesn't work. lol
All it should have done is take you back to page 5, just the explanation in how I allocated everybody an additional 2 players  (it might work now)
How do I have 70 points before the start of the Open???
Dude, you live in Wenatchee now, I'll see you at Apple Blossom next year. I was once Sunday color photo front page above the fold of the Wenatchee World on Big Weekend Apple Blossom. We made like $25,000 that fair and our booth is still probably booked for the park next year. Wenatchee and Pullman are my favorite towns.

I've done the additional player allocation an hour earlier than I said - all 10 regular protagonists are in so hopefully I haven't cut off anyone who is entering at the last second.

The rules for allocating players were posted about halfway down Page 5 of the thread (link - click here) and this is how it landed.

Mike, As per always, you have done a fabulous job in setting this up. One thing to look at changing for next time, is since that you only use the current stats for golfers, it should be the same for us. The 2024 US Open should not be used to determine anything for the 2025 year. When 2026 rolls around, everyone should start fresh for next year. The golfers have the Fedex Cup at the end of the year, maybe we should have the Bragger's Jug(or something different) to whomever gets the most points in a year. Just a thought

Cheers again, I did only use the last 4 majors (See below) so a fair-ish ranking albeit not everyone enters every contest, maybe I could have just used this years 3 majors played so far?

So I suppose the question now is whether we blank the rankings at the end of the year or continue to use the last 4 majors.

Because, sir - you are the Mariner Golf World Number 1 based on performance in the last 4 majors.

But now you are defending your 25 points from last year's open - so unless you finish above Juliooooo here, he will take overtake you. Baller and maoling could also end this tournament as World Number One as they didn't play last year.

This was just the formula used to decide which order I allocated the extra 2 players.

It was a struggle day 1. Fleetwood hit about 4 fairway bunkers, and had a bunch of putts that were millimeters from falling.
