D-train's Off season plan

Sign Bauer 2 years $25M per. $5M bonus if we make the playoffs. 1 year player opt out after year 1
Sign Brantley 2 years $12.5M per. team option for a 3rd year of $15M $2M buyout
Sign Brad Hand 2 years $8.5M per. team option for a 3rd year of $10M $1.5M buyout

Lineup
Moore 2B
Brantley LF
Lewis
France DH
Seager 3B
Haniger RF
Murphy C
White 1B
Crawford SS

Let Crawford have one last chance at SS until JK is ready. If Crawford has a 700+ OPS then keep him at SS and move Brantley to DH or RF if Haniger gets hurt again. Brantley also provides Haniger insurance if he isn't ready for the start of the season. In that case, France at 2B and Moore in LF. If Crawford still can't hit then Moore to SS and France to 2B, Brantley stays in LF for an OF of Brantley, Lewis, JK.

Rotation
Bauer
Marco
Gilbert
Sheff
Dunn/KK

If Baur wants to go every four days and Marco every 5 then get creative and make it happen.

Bench
Torrens
Lopes
Haggerty

Pen
Swanson
Marge
Delaplane
Misi
Brennan Edit Graveman just signed. Replacing Brennan with him.
Gerber
Ramirez
Hand - Closer

My next picks would be by trade. Bauer or bust in the free agent SP market imo.

Joe Musgrave from the Pirates is a good target imo. Not flashy but might be gettable.

At least as a mariner you’d get to hate me 19 times a year. Seems preferable

Good start to the off season. Graveman back in the fold. High leverage reliever for peanuts.
