No wonder mariners swing at everything. Umps are so bad they would call it a strike anyway.

You would think after 10 years in the league, Seager could recognize a breaking pitch. He consistently swings about a foot over the top of it. Anytime he has a 2-strike count, a slider is almost a certain strikeout. Sure he hits the occasional HR, but the rest of the time he's just awful at the plate.

On a positive note, man Gilbert is dealing. Coming through when we really needed it. So good to see.
