The same. One player does not a championship make.
Yeah, but way more fun to watch. As mediocre as the Angels have been, at least you get to cheer for stars like Trout and Ohtani.
Cheering for really dominating players is a lot of fun, I agree. We've had a couple in the past, but it's been too long. I see good, competent players on the horizon, but no one dominating, at least at this point.
Gilbert dominated the Yankees yesterday in about his 10th big league start. Randy wasn't dominant until about his 3rd season.

Marco is like Felix at the end minus the near HOF career....
I think its impossible for O'Neill and Marco to both be good at the same time, so we better start hoping that O'Neill starts sucking.

1st = Polo
2nd = Polo
3rd = Polo
4th = Marco (saved by the bell/DP)

Wow, Randy wasn't dominant until his 6th season.

Makes you nervous that JRod and Kelenic might not be good until they get a number of years in the show. Yipee.

You have to admire that. Just awesome.
I hate that he's not a Mariner. At least he's not on the Yankees, it would be insufferable.
Oh, I agree, and I still hold this against him, for some immature, idiotic reason. If he was a Yankee, John Sterling would be shitting his pants with superlatives every game. But still, you've got to appreciate that this guy is something special, no matter whose uni he's wearing.
Once in a lifetime talent, and we're fortunate to have the opportunity to witness it. He's that good. He's quickly becoming the Beatles of MLB.

I never want the M's to lose, but as a baseball fan, you have to admire that prodigious HR he hit. I can't remember the last time I saw a ball hit up there. Incredible!

It's one game. You can blast me on this, but I think it's too early to drape the mantle of greatness on Gilbert. He shows real promise and he showed exceptional maturity in his approach to facing an agressive offense like the Yankees. His numbers trend really well. He's got balls, he's smart, and he has ability. I'm hopeful, but I want to see more.

This offense is complete shit.
