Why do I think their plan is to dump Seagar, move Toro to 3rd and France to second so they have room for the wonderkid White at first. Then they'll sign some FA middle of the road starter and tell us the plan is to "let the kids play" while they pocket all the fan's money...

Definitely a possibility. Might even be most likely.

in terms of the tweets, interesting but I am not buying it, that the Mariners have informed Seager they are not picking up his option. First, there is no reason for them to do that, and if they had why hasn't a single news source picked up the story?

Well they are moving. Wouldn't it be the courteous thing to do to inform a 10 year vet of their decision as soon as they make it so he can plan his life?

Divish knows this is the end.

This stood out to me about JD
He’s not expecting to be told. Their relationship is complicated or non-existent.

“I haven’t heard anything,” Seager said. “We haven’t had a conversation in years, probably four years. We don’t communicate at all. Not even passing by in the hall. If he spoke to my agent or anything like that, I haven’t heard anything.”
Jerry is playing his part that’s for sure. What a Dick....I understand GM are not supposed to be friendly and it’s a business but personally to be that Dick day after day

Yep, total Eddie Haskell type guy. Mariner fanbase is June Cleaver and the players are The Beaver.

So if Kyle has heard nothing....Why are they selling the house.... That house would sell in a heart beat and Seager should be rolling in cash....Just sounds like drama to me......

And why would he have no relationship in four years with the GM when he has been under contract the whole time and is the current face of the franchise????
