Approximate projections (multiplying by 1.7):

Freddie Freeman, 7.5 WAR
Jose Ramirez, 7.5 WAR
Josh Bell, 4.4 WAR
Semien, 3.6 WAR
Schwarber, 3.4 WAR
Story, 3.2 WAR
Olson, 3.2 WAR
Reynolds, 2.5 WAR
Seiya, 2.2 WAR
Bryant, 0.5 WAR

Pretty much anyone other than Bryant would have been a win.

btw I doubt David Gee will remember to start the game thread so it will be open season. No Lewis and No Julio in the lineup.

Great to have Lewis back!

Somehow we end up with the guy with a worse OPS than Trevor Story playing LF 🤦‍♂️

Jerry promised he was the best LH bat in baseball.

Bryant seems to have some decent numbers but for home runs and RBIs

What the hell happened to Seiya? He had nearly 2.2 WAR after the first week.

He missed over a month with injury, so that 2.2 projected over 162 games comes to 6.5...and DiPoto passed on him.

It looks like everyone except Bryant and Seiya would be a win.

Even they were probably wins given who they would have pushed off the field (Torrens, Toro, Kelenic).

Just an update. Schwarber doesn't seem as good a deal as he was when this was last posted to. Yes he is better than Toro, Torrens, et al.
