France hit his standard double play grounder, but fortunately nobody was on base.

Although as Jerry has many times said "the season is a marathon" and we are now in contention for the division and playoffs....

I will never forgive his horrible offseason and lack of at the trade deadline to improve this team.

If they put half as much importance on the first two weeks of the season as they do on the last two we wouldn't be in this situation.

Just my "Mr. obvious" two cents.
What free agent should the Mariners have signed last offseason (if the player were willing to come to Seattle)?

What trade targets did the Mariners miss?

Going into Wednesday’s games only three clubs had grounded into fewer double plays than the Mariners this season:

But only six teams had turned fewer double plays:

Well. They call him "Trader Jerry" but I'll play....
From that list and I guy I honestly wanted was J.D. Martinez at DH.
Since they were not going to part with their boyz Geno or Frenchie...I was thinking power in the outfield. Brandon Nimmo would've been nice.
I won't be a hypocrite and say we shoulda coulda got a different 2nd baseman....I really thought Wong was going to work out.
At the trade deadline I'm not sure. Not good with trade ideas but in hindsight we needed bullpen help instead of trading our closer away.
Just my humble opinion.
