It is the AS break and our best hitter, Cal has a .216 BA, .299 OBP and a .734 OPS. F-ing disgusting...

Even crazier is his OPS like a week ago was .660 or so.

I am fine with Robert and Rooker but we are now in mid July and Jerry, as I predicted, thinks the asks are too high.

They're at a pretty important crossroads imo.

If they don't go for it now and get the bats they need by trading for them, they're probably not going to get better by 2025 either.

We know no free agent bats are likely coming here, so if they don't trade for the bats when they're available.....

Doesn't seem nearly as easy/common to trade for bats in the offseason imo.

My fear is that Jerry is going to half ass it or get cute with his acquisitions and when they don't perform use that as a justification for why he didn't do more.

So watched Joe and Colton from Mojo podcast. And I don’t know if I like the news or not but they reported an “insider” reports that the M’s are the front runners for,,,,,,,,,,?

Jazz C. I know he only has a 102 OPS+ career but he does produce. He does some flashy things. Per 162 he averages 32 SB and 27 SB and that is good production from the up the middle guys C, 2B, SS, CF. He does not play center but the other 3 he can. He is a left handed bat that doesn’t tend to get as Safe-KO’d as much as righties. The lefties would have SH Cal, Raley, Rojas, JP and now Jazz. I remember Jazz being worth like 40M directly following his breakout 138 OPS+ injured year. (28.4 FFPS sprint speed) He is at 2.63M this year with 2.5 years of CC. I want to say his value was at about 40M following his 138 OPS+ season but that was only2 years and 190 games of exactly league average hitting. I’d say his value is @) 10-20M +/-.

But maybe the M’s are also in on Tanner Scott LH BP stud. 1.34 ERA, 329 ERA+ but FIP is in the threes. From what I could look up Tanner would add 5-7M for the last couple months of the season.

I guess I could do a Cole young led package and then 3-4 top 10-30 types for the two of them

Of the position players listed in this article, the M’s are mentioned as possible landing spots for nearly all of them.

What are we waiting for, Trader Jerry?!

I don't get the Jazz Chisholm talk at all. He's a wuss.

Isaac Paredes, Luis Robert Jr, Brent Rooker, and Vlad Jr. are the guys they should be buying on imo.

Agreed. But keep in mind Jazz has a cool name and he looks pretty awesome too. The bobbleheads practically design themselves.

Guess we can look at SS players now with Crawford heading to the DL.
