Anyone else read this article about Cal and Gilbert? I love that they are moving up together, and now they are with Sheffield and Dunn. That it's possibly 60% of the rotation in the future, and hopefully the every day catcher all together figuring stuff out in Arkansas.

Side note, Sheffield with a strong start so far tonight. 4.0 ip, 6K, 0 BB, 0 ER.

I spoke too soon... hit and 2 BB to load up the bases, Gave up a run on a Sac fly. Dude is nails when he's not giving people free bases.

I wonder if they are content keeping him in Arkansas with Raleigh, Dunn, Gilbert. Seems they will all feed off each other. Seeing whats going on with Raleigh and Gilbert, I don't know that its a bad plan. They may just send him back up to Seattle if they end up trading Leake

I think they just pushed him back during the AS break, it basically skipped a start for him.

I don't know if you wanted an honest answer or not.

I think they ended up just skipping him for a start at the beginning of June as well.

Yeah I think even they even realized they were WAY overthinking it.

It was a stupid idea from the get-go.

Pitchers have bad games throughout the season when they should get pulled after an inning or two.

They should have just seized those opportunities instead of the scheduled stupidity.
