Young and Ford continue to show they are ready!!!
And Samad Taylor, too.
Taylor would be a fantastic bench player here solid speed late. Sadly no spot for him!!!!

That was easily the worst game of the season tonight. Shut out by four dogshit pitchers, Kirby got pummeled again, and somehow they screwed up not one, but two easy throwouts at home plate.

I'd like to see the players in the post-game interviews just totally insult the Nationals' pitchers. Don't give them any credit.

Yeah I can't get over those 2 relay throws. Beyond awful. Neither were even close. Just wasn't their night. Hopefully better showing tonight vs Gore.

You can joke about it and dismiss it as "just one of those games" but that game was beyond disturbing. From an organizational failure to assess the readiness of Kirby to rejoin the team and an inability by the batters to make adjustments and come up with an approach against a pitcher who has been terrible for the mostpart this season. What were Seitzer and Edgar doing to help them out?

Anyway, looks like my "Houston in first place by June 10"
prediction was way too optimistic. Same shit, new season. It's becoming more apparent with each passing year that we are to the Astros what the Bluejays are to the Yankees. We might be good once in a while, but they'll always be better than us.

It does get old. Same shit show with an owner who won’t spend money to give himself a haircut.

Why do you say that?
Because i'd like to see the Ms make it to the playoffs?
Right, so it's better that he should go down for Tommy John and lose a whole year. Makes sense.
A few things come to mind here.

1. The players, managers and front office personnel are not reading this, so is it a big deal that he typed it?
2. Typing it here doesn't mean it will happen. Nothing we type in here will come true because we typed it. I honestly think that point is missed by some.
3. Some times in a game thread? Guys vent. I'm pretty sure I have said that Geno Smith can lick my balls. I want that to happen not one single bit.

Nothing like a good ball licking but no Geno wouldn't be my first choice either. Lol
