Seager has been awesome at third. Besides, the Ackley experiment at 2B was going on at that time.

He has been. And would have been even more valuable as a 2B where his offense would have stood out even more.

Moore might be awesome at third also. But why put him there when he can play second?

Actually the positional adjustment of 2B and 3B is equal. +2.5 Same as CF. Guessing the stronger arm at 3B and the more mobility needed at 2B are a wash. Seager lost nothing in terms of fWar by playing third base.

Those are the numbers now, but positional scarcity is one that changes over time as more good players come on the scene.

2B has made a shift recently, I don't think it will last personally. Even some guys who helped move that needle, like Odor, have tanked.

Torrens and Kikuchi are really working well together. This is the best I have seen Kikuchi look...Man.... this looks like the best mlb trade deadline..... well maybe not as good as last year, but who knows? It might be just as good or better????

I think in the offseason and by next deadline Dipoto can bring in a few more prospects by moving Murphy, Seager and Haniger.
