Dude's 26 yo, why he would play another game in A ball is beyond me. .360/1.089 promote him at least to AA but probably AAA so he can go out to bars with some guys after the games instead of go back to their apartments and play video games.

My point is there is zero reason not have him start vs. a BP start. Zero nada zilch. Now or never for a 26 yo.

There are plenty of reasons they might want him back. There is a difference between not having a reason and having reasons you disagree with. Doesn't make them right, but if they don't think he's ready, they aren't going to give him a spot on the 40 man roster and bring him up.
