It's funny. Earlier in the season, Swanson had some poor outings and most here wanted him hung, disposed of or at least demoted. Then he had a few good games but got injured and is on the DL. So now he's the savior; he's the embodiment of 2021's Sewald.

The bullpen has no depth, and we are asking Murfee, who should be about the 7th reliever to do too much, and he finally folded being put into a higher pressure situation than he should this early in his career.

No dispute. I think Imade a snide comment about him months ago that he wasn't all that. Pleased that he was all that for a spin but didn't think he succeed without a fair measure of failure.
