Of course Haggerty comes up the majors and blows ass...

What else is new.

So Rojas is sitting because of platoon BS.

I went to check his career splits and he's only very slightly worse against Left-handers. Like 257 average vs righties and 254 average vs lefties. All the other numbers are similarly close.

Why can I, a common schmoe with a smartphone, look this stuff up but nobody on the Mariners staff can?

Well, since this one's over, I'd like to see us make a few of their hitters take dirt baths. Send the message that relying on dumb luck to win isn't tolerated.

The M's are schmoe-less.

They need 100% more schmoes.

The M's sure love to get all the offense going when there's 2 outs... I wonder what team BA is 0 outs in an inning. Probably low as hell.
Before today
0 outs Avg .240 OPS .729 HR 13
1 out Avg .199 OPS .555 HR 7
2 outs Avg .209 OPS .655 HR 11

I know what you mean, looks like the real issue is at 1 out rather than 0 outs.

Servais letting the home plate umpire miss ANOTHER one six inches off the plate. What's even worse is that the pitch is sweeping towards the plate instead of across it, so there's no reason to flub that. NONE.

Oh, and now we have a tie game in real runs.

I watched the baseball game last night. I could be back after a lo-ong sabbatical.

Sorry Sims is still here, though.

Starting to get the sinking feeling that Haniger's hot start was a mirage. He's been declining for the past two seasons and I didn't like the idea of re-acquiring him. He's gotten meatballs in each of his first two ABs today and completely missed them.
He is cooked and has been for two years

Scott won't do anything he loves all these strikeouts. They philosophy is no offense only pitching. Only way to win according to them. Same hitting coaches so they preach on bad offense. It will stay bad until again something changes
