He's on the Travellers roster.Scratchiro wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 12:12 amI may be wrong but ai think he was released before his surgery. Don't know if the M's have the rights to him or if he is a free bird.
Just hasn't made any appearances yet. Should soon (unless he's not readyJuliooooo wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 12:28 amHe's on the Travellers roster.Scratchiro wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 12:12 amI may be wrong but ai think he was released before his surgery. April 3, 2019 RHP Max Povse assigned to Arkansas Travelers from Tacoma Rainiers.
February 1, 2019 Seattle Mariners sent RHP Max Povse outright to Tacoma Rainiers.
January 27, 2019 Seattle Mariners designated Max Povse for assignment.
Perfect. Looks like he will be ready just in time for that 2021 window.
Yeah, but what will he be ready for? Not sure I have much confidence in him doing much. Hopefully he becomes a decent reliever at least.D-train wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 3:24 pmPerfect. Yeah, he may pan out. I know his numbers are good. For me, from the small sample size I saw in spring, he just didn't pass the eye test so to speak. When I'm saying this I mean having the goods to be an above average major leaguer. JRod on the other hand was impressive. Visually he exudes the intangible "it" factor - comfortable in his own skin, very confident, relaxed at the plate, etc. Physically he's a beast and I don't think his body is completely done filling out that frame yet. If he's got a solid work ethic, I think the sky is the limit for him. Who knows though, right? There's no way to really tell at the A/AA levels who will really break through.Juliooooo wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 9:30 pmHe was great in Spring training for a guy who never played above A ball, and he's been awesome in Arkansas this year.Scratchiro wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 9:13 pmI did forget Fraley. Doh! I have to admit that I am not as high on him as others after seeing him in spring training. You never know who might pop though.
I don't expect him to be Mike Trout, but I think he's more Mitch Haniger than Ben Gamel, meaning he can be someone who is a legit starting OF, not a 4th OF type. Kelenic and Jrod are on another level though.Scratchiro wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 4:45 pm
