I get the feeling that the only way we can salvage this season is if we trade for Vlad, Luis, Chaz, Paredes, Rooker, Crochet and Mason Miller.

And then fire the entire coaching staff.

And Dipoto.

Maybe.
Trades won't help. Changing coaching and maybe a manager will help a lot more. Trades will only turn them into horrible hitters like the ones we have now. It's contagious.

Its so sad u can tell the tone of the game after 1 inning. That first inning u could tell there was no fire in thier swings. So many meatballs hit foul couldn't put one in play. Classic.

Julio and Cal are the only two players that should be on a mlb team - the rest simply shouldn't be here and that is Dip's fault. He loves France for some reason and couldn't see that he was done 2 years ago. I know he was strapped for cash by our pathetic ownership this year but still - Hanniger is garbage, Rojas same, all the way down the order. We need 3-4 hitters to make a real go at this.

We need actual coaching and a manager. Defense and offense was horrible tonight. Castillo had one bad inning buy again pitching was brilliant. No bats will save this offense. Big changes in house will be the boost. Sadly they won't see it. Get desperate and make a trade and see the offense continue to not perform and make another great hitter into a Polanco or Garver cause this offense is not coached right. So excited to watch it happen and the players we trade away become big stars. Lol. Classic Mariners.

It's really sad when Oakland has put 2 games in a row of double digit runs. The Mariners have only had 1 I think double digit run game. Oakland has had like 7 or 8. If not for thier horrible pitching they would be a solid team

lol. FFS. Technically you are right .526 vs .525 winning percentage but they are in a virtual tie. And whoever is not in the division lead is 2.5 games out of a tie for the last wild card with KC 1.5 games ahead of them. :?

Oh, and Victor Robles now has 41 PAs worth of .382/.462/.588 triple slash with us. 1.050 OPS FFS

They lost a 10 game lead. Not just "technically." They were leading by 10 and now it's 0.

And Hunter Brown didn't even pitch well, he threw.a LOT of fastballs right down the middle. If he'd been pitching to his lineup he'd have been out of the game by the third inning.

I was watching the game on replay and in the seventh inning I just gave up and looked at the final score.

Possibly the worst thing that's happened this season is Houston's slow start, making people think the Mariners are better than they are.

As a result, not a lot changed in Marinerville. One coach fired (not even the real hitting coach), but nothing else of note. And the stands full of people buying garlic fries and $11 Cokes.
