Mariners pitching continues to be a T-Mobile mirage.

Before today the staff had a 4.07 ERA in Away games, which is good for 15th/30 teams, and a 2.69 ERA in Home games, obviously 1st place.

Their home numbers are so preposterous that they're still the #1 team in MLB at a cumulative 3.35 ERA.

They're an average pitching staff imo.
If they're #1 at home and 15th on the road, they're much better than average.
So they're only average on the Road?

Any pitching staff in baseball would get a similar huge boost from playing their Home games in T-Mobile imo.

He's got a great batter's eye when not seeing the Magenta Batter's Eye.

He's always been a good hitter for a catcher

The problem was Dipoto's dumbass thought he was a good enough hitter to be a DH.

They are 3rd in xFIP, doesn't that filter everything out?

Yeah, it's just a hot streak. He'd be a fine backup catcher.

It's probably some nerds attempt to do that.

They have a 3.4 xFIP in Home games (#1 in MLB) and a 4.18 xFIP in Away games (15th in MLB).

Make that make sense.

Not sure how they break it down, but no matter how you do, they're a good staff at home, and average on the road.
