Great finish by Munoz. One of his most dominating appearances of the season.
Seems to be much better with only 1 run to work with. Idk how him and Woo dont make the all star team.
Woo, Munoz and Brash should all be on the AL staff
Speier over Brash. Brash hasent been here long enough. Would be nice but Woo and Munoz for sure.

When will you make the change Dan? huh? Julio can't hit 2 anymore. End the madness!
I Agree . Dan needs to try somebody else at 2 . Julio needs to drop to about 6 or 7 to hurt his ego a little. It seemed to work with J.P.

Julio is 5 for his last 30 with an OPS in the 300's.

My. God.

He has just 1 homer in his last 30 games.

Mariners win! We're HEROES!!!

Back to back shutouts! Gotta love that. More than one run would be nice, but when you load the bases and get Julio up there with the bases loaded, a 2-1 count, and the pitcher fires a 93 MPH fastball right down the middle, you know that you're going to have to just make do with meager proportions.

Julio is a bum. No one has left more runners stranded than him. No One.

I don't understand how he continues to just swing out of his shoes and beyond that, he just swings his bat at the exact same plane every swing.

All the pitcher has to do is throw it slightly high, or slightly low and Julio can't adjust. He just wildly swings and HOPES it hits his bat on that same plane each time.

As we all know, Julio is not the brightest bulb in the pack. I bet Edgar has tried to work with him, but he's too stupid (or not talented enough) to make the adjustment, shorten his swing, be quicker through the zone and do anything to make contact, especialy with 2 strikes.

You have 3 humans, Julio, Edgar and Seitzer. At least two of them seem quite intelligent. You have hours and hours of film of his ABs in 2022 and 2023. How in the love of God can't the three of them go back and look at the tape when he was killing it as a rookie and sophomore and just replicate that swing and approach??????? It blows my mind what a fail they have all been in this regard.

He has an independent swing coach who IMO has ruined his approach by reducing the dip he used to use to time his swings. He used to dip a good foot in prep for the pitch and they got rid of it b/c they aimed to reduce swing and miss that they anticipated in the majors. I also think the dip is how he stored power... it really got him into his legs and now he's just a weak, arm swinger who can't catch up to the fastball b/c he's not in a position to swing.
