DT are you against them signing Naylor or don't think they'll do it? Like I said my version is this.

Trade #1 - Trade with Rays for Edwin Uceta & Yandy Diaz

Trade #2 - Trade with Cards for Donovan

Are you opposed to trading for Duran or don't think they'll do it? I mean shit that would give you a new OF, a new infielder who can play multiple positions & another high leverage arm. In addition to signing Naylor back. So realistically your talking 2-3 trades & 1 FA signing. Works for me. You know they love expiring contracts & that's exactly what they get with Yandy. Uceta has a nasty change who would look good in front of Brash & Munny. Obviously Donovan slots in at 2nd or 3rd. If you could add Skubal to that list oh boy. 1 year roll the freaking dice. Just wanna know what you think the odds of all this are.

Trade Kirby and Peete for Skubal. Tigers get 3 years of a good TOR starter and a high upside OF prospect. M's get a year of the Ace of Aces.

Trade Arroyo for 25 yo Abner Uribe. How cool to have a guy named after the inventor of baseball who is also a lights out reliever. 1.67 ERA, 2.75 FIP and 90Ks in 75 IPs. Brewers get a kid who has absolutely raked his entire minor league career and is very close to his big league debut despite a hiccup late in the season in AA. I would be happy to add more to get this done.

Trade JC and Celesten for Donovan and Joshua Baez, a 22 yo RH OFer that had a .883 OPS in AA last season. Perfect replacement for Randy in 2027. Obviously Donovan would play 2B.

Sign Okamoto to play 1B. 4 x 15M

Line up:
Julio CF
Donovan 2B
Cal C
Randy LF
Okamoto 1B
Canzone DH
Raley/Robles RF
JP SS
Williamson 3B pray his late summer swing change and power is real or bring up Emerson if not

Bench
Raley
Robles
Rivas
Ford

Rotation
Skubal
Woo
Gilbert
Castillo
Miller

Pen
Munoz
Brash
Uribe
Bizardo
Speier
Santos
Vargas
Kowar
As much as I hate to get rid of one of my personal favorites when it comes to the best of the best. You deal whoever will land the 2x Cy Young Winner. All 3 of these deals in a heartbeat no question. Excellent Plan.
