Did I miss a thread on this topic? How does the dismantling of the scouting department impact future drafts?

1. It looks like we no longer have much presence in the Caribbean/S. America.

2. JD said we will use more video rather than in person scouting.

Since we opened this state of the art training and educational facility in the DR in 2014, we have a helluva presence in the Caribbean/S. America. Mariners are sending young prospects from all over the Caribbean/S. America to this 24 acre facility carved out of the jungle. Three practice fields, a playing field with the exact dimensions of T-Mobile, dormitories, gyms, classrooms, and cafeteria...
