They just brought up a 21 yo with 100 games above A ball but they are going to let a 26 yo who was has been playing Professionally since Obama's first term toil away because he needs more time to develop and because they want to keep guys like Jack Mayfield on the 40 man.

This is why I have doubts about this FO. They say there is nothing they can do but go with BP starts. Really.

Well they brought up Kelenic early imo, and that was probably more to external pressure than them thinking is what they should do.

2 weeks ago nobody would have said McKinney should play in Seattle. The more he performs, the more they will have to consider it. 7 innings and 11Ks last night they will start considering moving him up to Tacoma.

Yeah I think we see some significant troop movement up the ranks in the next few weeks given at least a dozen guys are not being challenged.

Are you suggesting that I be patient? :)

I would never suggest such a thing to you... Cause I know you won't be :) Some of the journeymen will be kicked off of Tacoma. But most of the movement will happen after the draft. There are guys like Clase in Arizona that could join Modesto and start some of the domino effect. Marlowe, Julio, Larsen, Librado (sp?), Scheiner are all guys that should move up a level fairly soon

Draft isn't until AS weekend mid July. June will be moving month.

There will be some movement, but with the influx of new guys, I think there will be more in July after the draft. There is no more short season, so need to find a home for these guys, and the domino effect will mean a lot of movement

Having the draft over AS weekend is actually on few smart things they have done.

Is it after the college world series is finished? My guess is that most drafted players won't debut until the next season, but some of them will go to Low A to start a serious of promotions.

MINORS REPORT CARD

I first read it as, "Sausage" and it made just as much sense.
