Dylan Moores OPS was the fifth best in today's lineup. He puts runs on the board more than our other slop does.

He hits well enough for not playing everyday. His wRC+ is better than JRod.

Which is 23% better the the MLB average hitter. Yet Toro keeps finding his way into the lineup with his 54 wRC+ (which is 46% below MLB average).

Before today Toro had 186 plate appearances to Moore's 88.

Moore should be in the lineup almost daily among this group of losers.

Toro, Torrens, Haggerty, Frazier should all be riding the pine before Moore.

Oh, Moore's bad against RHP? Yeah, his 83 wRC+ is bad. But still better than Frasier, Toro and Torrens' overall wRC+.

Dipoto and Servais are always late to the party of realizing the obvious moves somehow, despite the firehose of additional information they apparently have at their disposal.

If you throw all the information in the world at people who don't know what to do with the info, what good is it? That's where I think we're at with the Mariners. Servais and Dipoto are at the blackjack table following what the Poker For Dummies handbook says they should do every hand.

Sure, it's good to stick with a plan- when it's a good plan. I don't think Dipoto is capable of a good plan at this point. Always a step behind.

To not be critical of poor performance is the essence of enabling. If we have a third of our lineup hitting significantly under the Mendoza line this far into the season we are doing something wrong. You can just see France and Julio running out of gas trying to carry us. We have the minor league talent to trade for a proven hitter. Quit making excuses and start making plays.
