Scheiner really deserves a shot. Geno is having a really really off year. Last year he was so much fun to watch this year its like wow!!! Hard to watch!!!!
Jerry says Babe Ruth won't help us so they are going to keep running trash out there instead of even trying to improve because they owe Geno millions. This org is a pathetic sick joke.

JP is 1 for 17 in June?

Oh, does his knee hurt a little bit?
JP's big comeback season and he now has the identical OPS that he finished last season with. .675

Anyone else wondering what the fuck happened to the Luis Castillo we traded for last year that was supposed to be this elite pitcher with untouchable stuff?

What are the issues with Castillo? He has an ERA of 2.7, lowest of his career, an ERA+ of 146, a whip under one.

He's had 5 starts totalling 31.2 innings where he's allowed 0 earned runs on 9 hits. Three of those were against Oakland and Colorado but still very impressive. But then he's also had 5 non-quality starts which almost guarantees a loss with this offense. He needs to be more consistently good and not so much hit-or-miss before i'll consider him elite.

Didn't think of him as elite in the first place, or untouchable. It's not up to him to have to overcome one of the worst offenses in baseball in order to win games. Heck, Felix went 13-12 when he won the Cy Young.
