You know what's weird..

Last season whenever I'd hear Sims doing play by play on the radio, he was completely incoherent most of the time. I literally would have no idea what was going on in the game... Like how many outs, what inning, whether he was describing a ground out or a grand slam. It was shockingly bad.

This season when he's on the radio he's totally fine. Bland, but totally understandable and fine play by play.

I knew a guy recovering from cancer who had to get periodic infusions, and his speech patterns were always really screwy if he'd gotten an infusion recently.

I wonder if Sims had a similar thing going on. It doesn't have anything to do with this Ford thing, but it reminded me.
