Castillo throws off the plate hoping that the hitter will swing with two strikes.
That mentality gets him in nothing but trouble. Leads to walks. Higher pitch counts. Early exits.
He should work on that strikeout pitch on the corners or a slider vs. the bullshit off the plate.

That is not a Castillo thing that is a Mariner thing it looks like their strategy is to get ahead then nibble. I don't like it. I mean you want them to chase, but sometime if you throw it 3 feet off then it is not enticing at all.
