I said a day or two ago that I thought 85-88 wins was the most likely scenario. I think revising that downward makes some sense, to maybe 82-85. I would call that the 55 or 60 percentile outcome in terms of likelihood.

It seems that Dipoto was referring to the 2023 88 wins, or a winning pct of .543.

We're not up to there yet. The M's have the same culprits ahead of them as the last season. Additionally, the Yankees have pulled ahead with the acquisition of Soto. They aren't done yet. The other contenders aren't done either.
