Absolute dog shit. Game ends on a pick off. Ground into 3 double plays. Shocker
Yeah, I guess whatever dumb/annoying way the game ended doesn't really matter considering all the wasted opportunities they had.
Yea like seriously what is wrong with these guys? 16 games in and still can't get going. Really need to change approach. It's time for new hitting coach. Stanton is loving how he didn't pay up and his offense is looking. Only bright spot is another great pitching performance. Offense just not having any of it.

It's so sad when u know 2 runs was all they were gonna get didn't matter how many chances they had. Now go home get a good night sleep come back tomorrow and lose again. Can't wait.

This division sucks early on which is helping us. Still only 2 games back but gotta make a change somewhere to get on track.
Granted it's still early.
But WHY baseball gods can't we just have a .500 club to start the season with???
Hell! .500 gets you first place right now in the West i.e. Texas.

This offense is an insult to all dogs squating on their neighbors lawns and taking a steaming pile of shit.
Castillo actually pitched decent today with the mistake over the middle and we couldn't score 4 runs to save the series.

Our “ace” is probably going to be our 4th best pitcher this year.

The 4th inning perfectly epitomized this team. Haniger gets an infield single, then with a 3-2 count Polanco goes around (or so the 3rd base umpire said) on a pitch a foot outside, then France swings at ball 3 with the count 2-0 and after what would have been ball 4, grounds into a double play. So instead of bases loaded and nobody out, the inning is over. You don't see other teams doing that.

And what a clown way to blow this game in the 8th and then to end it. The commissioner should tell the Flubs "You know what, you didn't earn this" and declare this game a double-loss.

I know that this has been the feeling the past 2 seasons early, but it feels like the season is already just about over. This team is horrible and they're not being coached at all.

That loss is not on Castillo. Your pitcher only gives up 3 runs is usually a win. Sucks it's handed to him but this loss is clearly on 1-9 today. Mostly 2-7

Clase 2-3 with a double. .333/1.087 God I love that kid!
Maybe he gets the call now that Canzone is hurt.
No chance. Need to win 54% in 2026

Yep opposing fans LOVE going to T Mobile right now.
The announced crowd of 32,423, a majority of them not fans of the Mariners, cheered at the announcement. A few of them even started their own rendition of “Go Cubs Go,” the club’s longtime victory anthem. But the groans of disgust from Seattle fans in attendance, which have grown louder and more frequent in this first two weeks of the season, could still be heard.

My observation is that we are playing with a total lack of confidence and that's reflective of a leadership issue
