Dammit. And Cal probably won't be up again until the 11th or 12th inning.

Why wouldn't steal in both those 2-1 counts is beyond me.
It's free fucking money.

Hahah better against good teams. Um record doesn't show that. Royals won the series. Skanks split Baltimore won series. The only winning team we have actually played well against is the Braves. They are not good losing recordMillikin wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2024 3:50 amExactly the point I was making. We play down to shit teams and play better against good teams.desbcoach wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2024 3:48 amActually you are wrong, we have played well against good teams for some reasonseth8734 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2024 3:42 am
Against good teams we would be swept. Skanks Os teams with winning records we would be on a huge losing streak. This team sucks against good teams.
U can't blame Bauman u blame the offense. Shit pitcher 1 fucking run can't blame Bauman at all u got no closer u have to mix and match.
That's why every damn game is so exciting.
I see Bal and Skanks now they are lethal they can beat anyone. Great record against winning teams. Until they get a winning record against winning teams this team is not playoff material. Damn Scott needs to go off on his damn presser Dehart and Co. Stop fucking babying the coaches. Your facing one of the worst pitched teams in the game. They deserve no credit. It's your offense. Fucking idiots.

Pitcher keeping him close and then throwing 100 mph. Hard to get a good jump. Julio actually showed good restraint by not going and getting thrown out.
But, yeah, I wish he had stolen the base. too.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Cade Marlowe K'd 3 more times tonight.
He's currently on pace for 252 K's over a 162 game season.
Legendary.

Yep another washed up talent. Just can't seem to draft legit hitters.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2024 4:01 amCade Marlowe K'd 3 more times tonight.

So your using Thornton here? Why not in the 9th? I trust him way more then Bauman but can't blame Baumann he was thrown in there and even he knows he is not a closer.

Thorton should probably be used in more high leverage than Baumann.
Just a thought.

I didn't say Mariners were great against good teams, Seth. I said they hang with good teams, which is definitely true.
You said any good team would sweep the Mariners and they haven't been swept by anyone.

Do you pinch run for Cal here?
And would we have had Julio as the ghost runner instead if he had tried to go for 2nd and been thrown out?

Hell yea he does. For people saying Thornto suxs look at his stats and think again. He should be the 3rd closer this year. He is proving he belongs there. Gotta win it here. Robert is lurking and with a runner on!Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2024 4:06 amThorton should probably be used in more high leverage than Baumann.
